Lunenburg School of the Arts offers workshops led by professional art educators and working artists. Our small and intimate class sizes allow students to work closely with instructors and each other, fostering self-expression in a supportive atmosphere. We offer courses in a wide variety of mediums, our programs encourage exploration, discovery and development of skills and ideas. We are located in the heart of Lunenburg, a UNESCO World Heritage site, a hub for arts and music. With its historic townscape and a working waterfront, the Town of Lunenburg is our campus.
A talented group of Mixologists has joined us in past years to introduce everyone to the evolving new world of Nova Scotia’s distillers. Leading workshops, showing off in a celebration of cocktails, inspiring Lunenburg’s talented chefs in dining events, these knowledgeable cocktail enthusiasts have always ensured a unique colourful weekend of fun. More than thirty varieties of spirits and liqueur are already being created by eleven distilleries in the province of Nova Scotia. Rum, whiskey, vodka, brandy, liqueurs, gin, and more, all made in Nova Scotia, were celebrated during the third annual Spirited Away Festival. Maybe next year you can join us. Meet the distillers.
